Project Harmony - Project Harmony exists to provide effective, immediate and sensitive support to children who are victims or suspected victims of abuse and neglect, and their non-offending family members.  A child-centered facility, Project Harmony assembles a multidisciplinary team composed of law enforcement, investigative, social service, medical and referral professionals dedicated to protecting children and prosecuting offenders.  The purpose of the center is to enhance the communication among professionals by co-housing in one facility: Project Harmony, the Omaha Police Department-Child Victim/ Sexual Assault Unit, and Nebraska Health and Human Services-Child Protection Services. Our service area includes eastern Nebraska and southwest Iowa. 

Metropolitan Child Advocacy Coalition (MCAC) - MCAC advocates for the right of children to a safe and healthy upbringing. MCAC coordinates community efforts to assist families and protect children. MCAC seeks to educate community members about child maltreatment. MCAC engages in child abuse prevention and intervention efforts.

Nebraska Children and Families Foundation, Prevent Child Abuse Nebraska - Prevent Child Abuse Nebraska was officially launched on July 30, 2001 as a program of the Nebraska Children and Families Foundation. Prevent Child Abuse Nebraska's focus is on primary prevention of child abuse and neglect through educational programs and public awareness campaigns.

Child Welfare Information Gateway - Child Welfare Information Gateway provides access to information and resources to help protect children and strengthen families. A service of the Children's Bureau, Administration for Children and Families, U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.

Annie E. Casey Foundation, Kids Count - The new KIDS COUNT Data Center, launched in January 2008, contains more than 100 measures of child well-being, including the 10 measures used in our annual KIDS COUNT Data Book. The Data Center includes the most recent data available on Education, Employment and Income, Poverty, Health, Basic Demographics, and Youth Risk Factors for the U.S., all 50 states, D.C., Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands and features data for the 50 largest U.S. cities.
